We’re excited to welcome Beverley Dsouza to Global Axis Substrates, stepping into the role of Operations Coordinator from May 2025. With a diverse background in logistics, distribution, and administration across international markets, Beverley brings a structured mindset and a strong passion for learning to the team.

With past experiences in similar positions and a genuine curiosity to expand her knowledge, the opportunity at Global Axis Substrates aligned perfectly with both her skills and aspirations.

Beverley has completed her Bachelor of Commerce and spent 16 years in Dubai, working in logistics for a pipe manufacturing company and later helping manage a technical services business with her brother—where she handled all the admin and operations. More recently, she worked with a global distribution company in Adelaide, supporting international supply of IT, telecom, satellite, and medical equipment.

In her role at Global Axis Substrates, Beverley is responsible for processing sales and purchase orders, preparing shipping documents, managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and customers, handling stocktakes across states, generating reports, and ensuring records and compliance documentation are maintained. It’s a role that demands organisation, precision, and communication—all qualities Beverley brings in abundance.

Highly process-driven, Beverley takes pride in triple-checking documentation to ensure smooth operations and minimal errors. She also values clear communication, preferring to pick up the phone and ask questions rather than leave things to chance or relying solely on email communication. “It’s the best way to avoid confusion and keep things flowing,” she says.

One of the early highlights of her time with Global Axis Substrates was visiting a mushroom farm—a completely new experience that left a lasting impression. “I had no idea how involved the growing process was or how many people contribute behind the scenes. It was so interesting and really gave me a new perspective.”

Looking ahead, Beverley is excited to continue learning and growing in her role. “Everything is new and exciting right now,” she shares. “I’m happy to go with the flow, support the team however I can, and keep developing over time.”

Outside of work, Beverley is a self confessed Netflix lover, unwinding with drama and reality TV. Having recently relocated to South Australia with her husband and two daughters, she’s enjoying exploring everything Adelaide has to offer especially the food scene. “Hahndorf has been a favourite so far!”

And one final fun fact? Beverley’s love for dark chocolate is unmatched—just one of many reasons we’re glad to have her on the team.
