Global Axis are proud sponsors of the Australian Mushroom Growers’ Association (AMGA) Conference, which will be held in Adelaide from Wednesday 26 – Friday 28 October this year!

The AMGA Conference is held every 2 years and aims to bring the mushroom growing community together to learn and exchange ideas in an ever-changing industry, as well as being a place where members of the community can connect. The conference is returning this October, after the 2020 conference was postponed due to the pandemic. It features an extensive line up of both national and international guest speakers who will share exciting new innovations and developments within the industry.

The conference includes an exhibition space, an important part of the conference as it gives exhibitors the chance to connect with members of the community and other companies in the market.

The conference will include presentations from both national international experts in the field. This includes a presentation from Roland Van Doremaele from Christiaens and Jack Lemmen from GTL who will speak about the new developments in robotics and creating more efficient harvesting systems. Folkert Moll of Kekkilä- BVB will give a presentation on sustainability in the industry, as well as members of Hort Innovation providing updates on investment and marketing. In addition to these guest speakers, there are a number of other field experts over the 2 days that will cover a range of topics such as food quality and safety, pest and disease management and economic updates; allowing the opportunity for attendees to hear about a wide range of topics relating to their industry.

The 3 days will also consist of numerous networking activities. The conference will kick start with welcome drinks at Crowne Plaza on Tuesday evening, giving guests a chance to meet and speak with others in the mushroom growing community. This is followed by a tour of Pure Compost and SA Mushrooms on Wednesday, with a dinner at 2KW Restaurant and Bar in the evening. Finally, on Thursday evening the Sylvan Gallery Garden Gala will be held at the Adelaide Art Gallery and is anticipated to be an event highlight.

The conference is open to all member and non-member Australian mushroom growers, industry suppliers and stake holders.  To register for tickets, visit:  https://clems.eventsair.com/amga-australian-mushroom-growers-association-conference-2022/amga-conference/Site/Register
